Onward Entrepreneur/Business Owner Grant
What is it?
The Onward Entrepreneur/Business owner grant was created to expose Harlandale students to the idea of becoming business owners and entrepreneurs. Adrian Garcia created the scholarship out of the absence of entrepreneurial opportunities in 2011 when he was a senior at Harlandale.
Using the skills he learned at the Harlandale Film School, Adrian left college in Austin to pursue his passion for photo and video, which later became Onward Group, his business and media agency.
The goal of this grant is to encourage and guide Harlandale students towards the goal of having their own business and to help them get a head start on what they are passionate about.
